The Nation Vocation Office works to: 1. Promote active Christian Discipleship by working to embed an awareness of vocational identity in every generation in the Church. When a person understands that they are called, that they have a purpose, they are empowered by the joy of knowing they have a place in God’s eternal plan for creation. This realisation liberates us all from the incessant search for meaning in temporal distractions and directs our energies to that meaningful fulfilment which is found in God alone. The energy of this empowerment spurs us to enter into communion with all our brothers and sisters, loving them, serving them, and journeying with them. 2.
